Payment for each session is required 48 hours in advance via bank transfer. 

Cash payment can be taken for in-person sessions.


 Is counselling right for me?

There may be times when life gets on top of you and you find yourself struggling, and it can feel like a very lonely place.

Talking to a trained counsellor can give you the time and space you need to make sense of your thoughts, unburden your mind and find new ways to cope.

What's the right number of sessions to have?

There is no right or wrong answer to this.  You are a unique individual and I will work with you in the way that best suits your needs.

We can take some time to review how you feel things are going as sessions progress - you are always in control.

Will our sessions be confidential?

What you say in counselling stays between just the two of us.  There are a few exceptions to this, but I will make sure you are clear on what these are during our initial consultation.

What types of counselling do you offer?

I predominantly follow a person-centred approach, which means I take my cues from you in terms of the direction the therapy will flow.  We will only ever go towards an issue at your pace and as far as you are comfortable approaching.  You are always in control.

When working with couples, I employ Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients create a positive shift in their personal interactions, and to foster the creation of a more secure bond between them.

How would we have sessions online?

For online sessions I am happy to work on Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or WhatsApp.  Whichever platform you are most comfortable with is the one I will aim to use.
